I got up early, had breakfast with Mel, and went right to the gym. I thought it would be a positive thing to get some exercise before my next session because yesterday kind of took a tole on me. It shouldn't and I think that's what was bothering me. I'm gonna have swings and if I continue to improve and move up they are gonna be a lot more than $200 swings. I think it will just take some time before it's easier to deal with. I was watching this documentary called "A Kid's Game, The Story of Online Poker" the other day and the guys being interviewed all expressed that when you play long enough, you become immune to losing. Hac Dang, one of the most successful online players ever said that he thinks of losing money as a "toll to do your job." I thought that was a really interesting way to look at it.
Anyway, I ended today +$230, so I recovered all of yesterday's loses +$13. I was really focused today and think I played as close to my "A" game as I have yet. The session was about 4 hours so I have now had my first official 40 hour work week, although it definitely took me longer than a week. Now that we're settled in though, I expect to be playing 30-40 hours until I feel comfortable playing more. Mel and I are going to see "The Campaign" now, so I'm gonna peace out. Watching Breaking Bad later, AKA the best show in the history of shows. smell.
